Weather indicator in ubuntu8/17/2023 Meteo is simple and straightforward to use, and fetches a wealth of weather information including humidity, wind speed, and sunrise/set times. To add this PPA and install Meteo run the following commands: sudo add-apt-repository ppa:bitseater/ppa sudo apt install Finally, launch the app from your app launcher. Meteo is a relatively new desktop weather app for Linux, but is by far my favourite in this list. These latter features may be used to override decisions made by apt-get's conflict resolution system. Install My-weather-indicator: Press Ctrl+Alt+T on keyboard to open the terminal. The developer of Meteo maintains a PPA with packages for Ubuntu 18.04 LTS and above. Similarly a plus sign can be used to designate a package to install. If a hyphen is appended to the package name (with no intervening space), the identified package will be removed if it is installed. This can be determined by browsing to the National Weather. The /etc/apt/sources.list file is used to locate the desired packages. In order to find local information you will need the 4-character ICAO location indicator. My Weather Indicator The My Weather Indicator app is an incredibly detailed weather forecast app for the Linux desktop. All packages required by the package(s) specified for installation will also be retrieved and installed. Displays temperature in both Celcius and Fahrenheit.
